Gyeongbok Palace (°æº¹±Ã) at night

 

We learned that Gyeongbok Palace would be open for night visits until the end of the week.  Below is some of what we saw.

Geunjeongjeon (±ÙÁ¤Àü) - the throne hall

 

 


Sujeongjeon (¼öÁ¤Àü) - rebuilt in 1867
This building's original name was Jiphyeonjeon (ÁýÇöÀü) and is where Hangeul, the Korean alphabet, was invented during the reign of King Sejong.


Gyeonghoeru (°æÈ¸·ç) - used for royal banquets
