I met Mike when we both worked at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. He also worked as a guitar teacher at The Music Room in Palatine. Anyway, we started talking about girls and music and quickly became friends. He needed a demo tape, so we spent an afternoon in my mom's basement making one. I recorded his guitar through my CAD Equitek E-200 through my Mackie board, colored with a Boss RV-3 Reverb/Delay pedal. At the time were both happy with the result, though, listening to it again now, I wish I had turned off the noise gate on Claire Dreaming. Live and learn. I haven't spoken to Mike in years, but it appears you can find him through his rock band The Infamous Ashley St. Ives.
