As a longtime member of the obscure band Alloy Jacks, I learned very little that is relevant to making good music. Somehow along the way I developed an interest in recording, of which I have little actual knowledge. Yet, one likes to fiddle. To my delight, a handful of talented musicians have asked me to fiddle with their music over the years. This part of the website summarizes those efforts. More content will gradually appear as I either find new talent or get a chance to rummage through my old tapes. I have no particular goals regarding music and merely do this for my own enjoyment. I will be pleased if my recordings bring you some little enjoyment, as well. If you're a musician in the area, drop me a line. I would be happy to work with you. The original name for my recording endeavor was What's That Smell?, which I came up with around 1996. Unfortunately, that name has been used so much since then. The same goes for Armchair, but I at least have one (pictured above). And I always know what that smell is.
